The event "The Night of the Witches" has punctually marked the beginning of summer on the Romagna Riviera since 1988, and every year it is greeted with enthusiasm by the thousands of visitors who choose it for the alchemy of the market, with its handicrafts, essences, flavors, artifacts and herbal ointments, but also the magic of the sets, the enchantment of the shows and the many animations that color the alleys of the center, and the traditional specialties offered by restaurants and stands.

The event is also an opportunity to greet the arrival of summer by recovering rituals and folklore that dialogue with the popular Romagna tradition of celebrations for the Solstice and St. John's Day, culminating with the traditional and evocative "Burning of the Witch" that takes place every year at midnight on the last evening.

For 30 years now, the Marignanese event has been telling the story of the Witches, goddesses and magical herbalists, and their spells, with curiosity, wonder and enchantment and is now a true festival populated by Italian and international artists who, for five days, enliven the village with acrobatics, magic and many entertaining performances for young and old alike!
